Secrets to Creating Wealth From Home

SecretstoCWFH.jpg

Greg Montoya made a career out of being an entrepreneur and had always thought success had to do with money and material possessions. Today, he lives the life of a wealthy man, but in ways that far exceed the money in his wallet.
When Greg Montoya was in Junior high school, he actually hired an employee to do one of his most dreaded chores: mowing his parents' lawn. He used some of the profits from his side business of building and selling bicycles to pay his employee. That's right, a junior high student with a business and a payroll. Imagine the surprise Greg's mom Helen felt when she woke up early one Saturday morning to find a neighborhood kid cutting her grass in the hot, baking Arizona sun, while her son slept soundly in his own air-conditioned room.

Greg's motives may have been simply to get out of his chores, but it was a sign of ambition - starting his own business and hiring an employee before he could even drive. It seems junior high was a pivotal time for him; that was also when he started a candy bar business. He would buy a bag of candy bars and sell them individually at school and double his money. This, of course, was before bags of candy were marked "not for individual sale." Greg jokes, "the candy bar companies hadn't caught on yet. It was probably people like me who clued them in though."

Then there was that bicycle business; he'd buy parts at yard sales to build bikes and then sell them for a profit. On top of these businesses, school, and the chores he didn't pay someone to do, Greg also had a traditional job - a paper route.

"As a child, I saw success all around me, yet I was being conditioned in school to think in terms of 'job - just over broke,'" says Greg. "I knew if I were to follow that path, I'd be settling."

But he did what school taught him and took a 'real' job - the paper route - to appease those who felt it would teach him responsibility, money management, and the importance of a good work ethic. His sideline money making activities filled a need he had to be in control of his own success.

"The Lure of The Safety Zone"

Greg went on later in life to duplicate his junior high experiences. But not only by delivering papers and selling candy bars; rather, he took a regular 40 to 50 hour a week job as a machinist for a major aerospace company, and in his spare time he got involved in a variety of business opportunities.

It wasn't exactly as he had planned his life to be, taking on a traditional job and working for someone else, but it seemed like a safe route to go, or so he'd been told. So, for ten years Greg put in his time in "the safety zone" and only dabbled in side ventures. He worked diligently at his job and was promoted into a management position for his efforts. This was great news because it meant his hard work had been noticed, and it also meant an increase in his salary. It didn't take long before he grew accustomed to the new responsibility and additional money, but in one day all of that was destroyed.

It's a tale that's told all too frequently these days - Greg was forced out of his position due to a change in the company's administration. According to him, they brought someone else to put in his position, so he was sent back to the machine shop and his pay was cut almost in half.

As anyone would imagine, this was a devastating turn of events. The demotion was not a reflection on his performance but the message was clear: he was expendable. That did not sit well with him, considering he'd put in 10 years with the company. Add to that the bills that were piling up because he wasn't earning enough money to pay them.

He says, "Over 10 years worth of loyal service down the drain...I resolved right then that no one would ever control my paycheck again. The thought of spending the rest of my life working for other people - only to make them rich - made me feel ill."

This is exactly what Greg needed to force him back into his life as an entrepreneur. But gone were the carefree days of selling bikes and peddling candy bars. Greg never abandoned the idea of having his own business; he had the right mentors and certainly done enough research to know how to get started, but he admits that one thing had kept him from acting on his plan for success: fear.

Fear that he wouldn't make enough money; fear that all his school teachers were right - a traditional job is the only proven way of making a living; fear that he would live up to the expectations of all the people in his life who told him he'd never amount to anything.

But now Greg had enough courage and determination to put aside those fears and do what he had been planning since childhood. "When I was only a child, I started studying successful people," recalls Greg. "My Aunt Wanda and Uncle Jack once took me on a ride in a sailboat my uncle had built. I was thankful for them taking me, but I couldn't help but notice all the fancy boats on the lake. Then my cousin Georgia's husband sped by us in a really nice speedboat and all I could think was, "Why am I not on that boat?" I was thankful for all I had, but I still wanted more."

As a child, h e could visualize having that kind of success one day, so he researched how others were making their money and their mark. he read entrepreneur books, magazines, and attended success seminars - many before he even graduate high school. And, he promised his mom that by the time he was in his 30's, he'd have his own business. There was no doubt in her mind that he'd achieve that goal, but there were plenty of "dream stealers," as Greg refers to them, who just laughed at his ideas and told him he'd never succeed.

Leverage Yourself By Helping Others Succeed - The Key To Success!

Greg and his wife Marie set out on a mission to find the best home-based business opportunity on the market. The plan was to get a business going strong so he could quit his job. They attended a seminar featuring six different opportunities and ordered everything. Marie told Greg she was sure of him. "She believed in me," says Greg. "She said that even if we lose everything , I'll stand by you. She wasn't in it for the money, she was in it for me."

With that kind of support, Greg put all his efforts into finding the one venture that would enable him to quit his job and never work for someone again. "I went through a variety of business opportunities and 98 percent didn't work out," shares Greg.

When he heard the words of Zig Ziglar, "You can get what you want in life if you help enough others get what they want," Greg understood what he'd been doing wrong. "The focus was on me and that wasn't getting me anywhere. I changed my focus to helping people achieve success - it's a concept that has developed into a culture," he says. He believes in reaching out to others and getting them started in their own home-based business so they too can realize their dreams. That kind of help results in success and compensation for them, as well as satisfaction and compensation for him - his reward comes from his efforts in helping others succeed first and not at the expense of others.

Pure Air Creates Wealth

A well-known marketer introduced Greg to a company that sold a unique air purification product, and he was offered a chance to team up with them and build a business with the product along with finding others to do the same. "I saw the benefits first-hand. I knew it was both a product and an opportunity to help others get what they want," says Greg.

This was what he had been searching for - a proven product that changes people's lives physically and financially, and a business that is proven. He admits that there are some people who have to see success before they'll follow, but not him. He considers himself a visionary - he sees the success before it happens. He always has. "But with this duplicatable system and the many success stories that go with it," adds Greg, "the proof can't be disputed. For those who need to see success first, like my dad for instance, this system shows it."

Greg gave his mom an air purifier as a gift. One day when his parents had the neighbors over, someone lit a cigarette, but nobody knew there was a smoker in the room. Greg explains, "That's because the purifying unit and its unique filterless radio wave-like technology was able to completely eliminate the odor and sight of smoke at its source before anyone had noticed."

That was enough to convince Greg's dad, Paul, that it was a product people would want to have. Paul's instincts were correct because he went on to build a very successful business with the product. In fact, he had so much success that he was able to quit his full-time job as an engineer to do the business full time.

But, as in any business, it's not enough to have a love for a product. Like Greg's dad says, "You can have the best product, but if nobody knows about it, then who cares?" in order to make money, you have to know how to get others as excited about it as you. Greg has always known how to do this and was ready to create a step-by-step recipe for success for others to follow and get excited about.

He teamed up with his partner, Jon bender, and went to work, brainstorming for months with several of the nation's top marketing experts, including Sharon Gold, Paul Svetz, Mike Johnson, Cynthia and Dave Kendall, Elaine Gibson, Sean McGrath, Jose Gonzales, Jeff Usner, and many others.

They worked with these experts to combine their knowledge and develop a turn-key system that would become a "success cycle" for the people they brought into the business. Greg says, "Because most people operate on proof rather than faith, our system is designed to develop immediate cash flow and immediate results."

Jon was a perfect match for Greg as he brought years of traditional/corporate business experience to the table as a former vice president of a publishing company. They felt a connection immediately. Greg says they had many of the same ideas, but also had their differences. "That was good. It kept us in check. We were able to brainstorm and feed off each other's energy. And as a team, we developed the basics of what is now one of the most successful systems of its type, the 'Creating Wealth From Home™' System," he adds.

Today when Greg, Jon, and their other partners introduce new people into their business, they give them a copy of the Creating Wealth From Home™ System. It's designed to introduce newcomers to the industry and navigate them through the sometimes daunting task of building their own business.

SecretstoCWFH_02.jpgThe system has a unique built-in support program designed to provide daily, ongoing training, education, personalized coaching/mentoring and momentum techniques to help newcomers reach their own success goals. "It's just like attending a college or university designed for success, but you do it from the comfort of your own home; and our high support level reassures new partners that they are not in this business by themselves," says Greg.

One of the biggest objections of this kind of business that Greg hears all the time is people are worried they'll have to sell the product to their friends and family in order to make money. But according to Greg, the beauty of this system is that it's not dependent on a warm market (family and friends). It's set up as a check list based on factual, proven methods, that is designed to get interested prospects to call you instead of spending your valuable time finding someone interested enough to take your calls.

"When you tell people that with this system they don't have to sell things to their friends and family, the first thing they do is tell their friends and family anyway." says Greg. "It's a win-win!"

Childhood Dreams Do Come True

SecretstoCWFH_03.jpgGreg, Jon, and their other partners put the Creating Wealth From Home™ System to the test for four years and in the meantime created their own success. Greg is now financially free, living with his wife and two children in their new 1.5 million dollar home. He also drives a brand new Mercedes, compliments of his company's bonus car program alternating with his new Cadillac Escalade on occasion. His children are in private school and Marie is able to be at home for them and to lend a hand with the business. And to top it all off, he's paying someone else to mow his lawn. But what he says he's learned from all of this is that the old cliché is true: money can't buy happiness.

The power of helping others set goals and achieve them has been a driving force for Greg and his close team of partners. it's no longer about having a fancy home, fast boat, or tons of cash; to him it's much more.

"Once you've got it, you see that it's not everything. It was three years ago that I realized true happiness comes from God. My success has mushroomed ever since because of my close relationship with God; without Him I'd have nothing! He's also brought me much closer to my kids and my wife," shares Greg, who also believes that it's critical for spouses to be 100 percent supportive in this business. "If one person is negative, it won't work. Doubt will win out every time."

But that's not the case in Greg's life, nor has it ever been. He knew at an early age that he was going to succeed and Marie bought into that belief when she met him.

he admits that he had to start over in this business several times because he didn't have a system that was duplicatable. But once he met Jon and a few of his other current partners, it was only a matter of time before his childhood dreams came true: he fired his boss, quit his job, got rid of the dream stealers in his life, and started creating wealth from his home. Greg reflects on his journey to success, "I gave up rush hour commuting, working just to make my boss wealthy, having little quality time with my family, piles of unpaid bills, and my fear of failure, and traded them all in for a better life."

"I'm a person with dreams just like most people. and if I can succeed, why not others and why not now? Especially those who have the same dreams, goals, and now, access to the same system many people, including myself, are using to create wealth from home," he adds.
